When the pandemic began to lay thick on our community, I joined the massive community of photographers that were doing “front-step portraits” as a way to bring neighbors together (yet 6-feet apart). Lauren and her family were one of the families that I had the privilege of capturing during that time. Little did we know, that that quick yet sweet session would later blossom into a friendship I deeply treasure. Lauren is an incredibly talented web designer and brand connoisseur. She is also the author of this gorgeous website! When I decided to make the leap from photography to medicine, I needed something that was going to represent that, in my terms. She created something that made me feel seen, validated, and proud. Having her in front of my camera was the sweetest treat.
