WHAT TO
EXPECT
Where do we start?
It all starts with you shooting me an email. Tell me everything - how did you and your partner meet? How old are your kids? Do they love watching Bluey as much as I do? All of it. From there, we will start planning our time together.
Where will we photograph?
Maybe you have a special-place that’s “so your family” or you have a vibe you are going for. Maybe we start at home and walk over to a local park. Maybe you make the drive to that special location you’ve been dreaming about. The world (and your session) is your oyster! Together, we will pick out the perfect place.
What photos will we take?
I come in with a plan but I’m flexible as a Twizzler. That being said, there is no expectation for your kid(s) to be anything but KID(S). Oh your kid has a tantrum? No problem. Your kid doesn’t want to smile? Ya, I get it. I am a firm believer in snack breaks, bubbles games + not forcing a damn thing. Which is where you come in: take a deep breath, it’s going to be OK. Great fam-bam sessions come from the heart, meaning, we accept that it won’t be “perfect.” Honestly, I prefer that. “Perfection” is fake, and you are not fake. These images should last for years to come. For that to happen, we’ll take a mix of “look-at-me-and-smile” images, but mostly I’m capturing all the love, tender moments, the giggles + not-so-happy moments in-between. These are images you’ll be able to feel for lifetimes. Something your kids will show their kids.
